MANY HAVE ASKED ABOUT THE TRAILS FOR THE

VARIOUS TRAILS THE DAY OF THE RIDE.

THERE ARE MANY TRAILS AVAILABLE,
RANGING FROM 3 MILES TO 12 MILES. THIS
YEAR THE TRAILS WILL BE COLOR CODED
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
.

YOU PICK THE TRAIL THAT IS BETTER FOR YOU!
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO RIDE ANY LONGER
THAN YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. THE TRAIL
WILL ALSO HAVE ARROWS MARKING THE
CORRECT WAY TO TRAVEL.1

We have set a donation goal for $10,000. I know
that we can all work together as a team and
accomplish this goal! A donation of $35 per
rider/$10 for children under 15 is requested. Send
a check, written to the Montel Williams MS
Foundation, with the name: Gallop for a cure in the
memo line of your check, to:

Christi Medice
6394 Whittington Road
Exmore, VA 23350

100% of donations go to the MONTEL WILLIAMS
MS FOUNDATION!  All donations are tax
deductible!

We are asking that all participants "attempt" to
raise $300 per person in donations. This does not,
mean that if you cannot raise the $300 you cannot
ride. We will welcome anyone!

The Montel Williams MS Foundation was established to further the scientific study of MS in
October 2000. The goals of The Montel Williams MS Foundation are to provide financial assistance
to select organizations and institutions conducting the most current research, to increase
allocations for research from the federal government, to raise national awareness about MS, and
to educate the public.
Since its inception, the Foundation has raised more than $1 million for research. Montel Williams
has personally raised more than $1.1 million in the fight against MS, and lent his time and talents
to numerous initiatives to combat the disease.
Currently, 100% of the public’s donations go directly to funding research to find a cure for MS. We
are committed to keeping administrative costs as low as possible to remain true to this mission. At
this time, the research centers the Foundation makes grants to are: The Brigham and Women’s
Hospital at Massachusetts General Hospital, a comprehensive care and research center; The
Nancy Davis Center Without Walls, a collaboration of leading scientists at top hospitals and
universities; The Karolinska Nobel Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, a trail blazer conducting
ground breaking research; and the Department of Neurology at the University of California at San
Francisco; the Neurology Department at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins; and the
Center for NeuroScience and Regeneration Research at Yale University. Additionally, a Montel
Williams MS Foundation Fellow worked on multiple sclerosis clinical trials at the University of
California at Irvine from 2003 to 2004.

To donate to the Foundation, please make checks payable to
The Montel Williams MS
Foundation, 331 West 57 Street, PMB #420, New York, NY 10019,
or call (888)324-2773 to make credit card donations.

Please place Gallop for  cure in the memo line on your check.

I know that many of you are wondering, "So what happens to
the money raised? Where does it go? Is there any
"administrative" cost associated with this, and if so, where are
the funds use. Please read this information below.
